How may I remain inspired by loving Life -

practicing peace and generosity

in ways that ripple gently beyond my own time?

  Poetic expressions 2026

These expressions are not conclusions.

They are listening posts.

Written in ordinary days
between walks, conversations, silences,
and moments
when the world invites my attention.

Some arrive as a few lines,
others as a pause that wants words.
All of them are shaped by a longing:

How to live simply - in appreciation of being alive — now?

What does it mean to live in peaceful coexistence,
in well being for all —
me too —
on Earth, at this time?

They are offered in kinship,
in trust that
what we practice

- alone and together

- will grow

Thank you for being present

Not to achieve
but to tend

Not to impress
but to love

When clarity inspires me
to move

Life flows
with subtle ease
in real time

Moment to moment
is all there is

A Circle of Trust

Across continents

a quiet current moves

hands meeting in trust.

What begins as support

becomes something deeper:

a shared listening

to the unfolding rhythm of Life.

When we tune ourselves

to that subtle music,

organization becomes hospitality

and work becomes practice.

One generation rising,

another witnessing

humanship becoming stewardship,

stewardship ripening toward eldership.

And in the middle of it all

a simple, luminous fact:

we are allowed

to walk this path - alone & together.

A small miracle

in the ordinary days

 of our world.

Preparing for my Wintertime

If you are reading this,
you may already sense it:
life may be asking less of you now
and offering something quieter in return.

Wintertime is not an ending.
It is a season of shape and beauty.

Not the shape of ambition,
but the shape of what remains
when striving loosens its grip.

I notice the world simplifying.
Fewer urgencies.

More space between moments.
Time widening enough to breathe

What if this is not loss,
but clarity?

Like a bridge reaching into the frozen lake,
I am allowed to stop
and notice that each moment
is a new arrival.

Winter invites me to trust
what I have already lived.
To let effort soften into presence.

To choose wisdom over speed,
kindness over certainty,
gratitude over explanation.

Nothing more needs to be proven.
Nothing essential is missing.

I find myself drawn
to clean water, bare trees, long light,
stillness in action,
and conversations that do not rush
toward conclusions.

I am learning very slowly - but surely.

Wintertime is the art
of being with what is
without needing it to be different.

When I listen closely,
I hear the larger circle breathing with me,
each moment a small return,
each breath a quiet thank you.

When the time comes to let go further,
I trust this:
I have belonged all along.

Love is
the silent companion
who has walked with me
through all my seasons.

Into the beauty of winter

I find it to be
Most generous.

Soil beneath words
a shared breath is waiting
before we speak now

🌍

We can be here
because the earth carries us
because it calls
for our attention.

Beneath our words
lie soil, water, and time.

Something older than all of us.

Something that will live on after us.

The questions we wisely
can ask ourselves
are not about being right
but about taking responsibility for the whole.

Not about ownership alone
but about stewardship.

Not only about us
but about those who come after us.

Let us listen from the heart
and
speak and act
as people who share land
on Earth.

Listen,
now that the future
is in the room.

🌱

The future listens
breathing with us in our lives
before actions are born

Winter’s calm

vibrates through

all the frozen beauty

The wisdom lived by those
who came before us

when practiced

can cut through
the confusion of today

Dictating seems present
on many menus these days

And so is living life
in a conscious lane

Tending the well within
serving Life
as best I can each day

There is no need
for dictating
large or small

Time to relax
work together
and choose
what serves
all life
